We loved this place from the moment we arrived, as did our pooches Lulu and Bertie

Jane and Mary Ann were so lovely to us, we had a bit of a medical emergency whilst there and they offered to sit with the dogs until we got back, i wil lnot forget their kindness and we are looking forward to returning in the Summer

The cottage caters for EVERYTHING, including home made cakes for us AND the dogs with delicious home made jam and marmalde also supplied

I can’t recommend this cottage enough; we have been here several times in the last 5 years. Our most recent visit was for the New Year. The cottage has absolutely everything you need, it is home from home.

The cottage itself is immaculate, so clean and well maintained, it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The lovely spacious bedrooms, open plan living area with a cosy log burner ( logs always available to purchase from the honesty shop along with scrumptious home made jams and marmalade also fresh chicken and duck eggs too! Mmmm)

The Old Mills garden is enormous and totally enclosed so my dogs were free to roam and they loved it!

With Acres of land to walk around with the added bonus of the fishing lakes, there is so much more to see, the scenery is spectacular and the area is so peaceful. It’s hard to believe you’re only a stones throw away from the village (that has a really nice pub serving delicious food! (And plenty of wine!)

Our hosts at Heath Farm, Jane and Mary Ann could not have made us more welcome, we absolutely loved it!

If you are thinking of staying here, I would honestly say JUST DO IT!. You won’t regret it. Can’t wait to return in June for our summer holidays!

We stayed for 7 nights over Christmas. The Old Mill was beautifully decorated with a tree and lights internally and externally giving us that Christmas feeling as soon as we pulled up. The table was dressed with crackers and a lovely yule log treat for us and a goodie box for our dog.

The property exceeded our expectations, it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The information pack covered all we needed and Jane communicated with us before and during the visit and made sure we had all we needed.

We used the honesty shop to top up with fire wood which made our evenings magical.

There were plenty of board games for us to use and added to the quality family time.

We had an amazing weekend away here at Heath Farm Holiday Cottages. We were so lucky to stay in The Old Mill. This had stunning views. The Old Mill was immaculate and so much thought had gone into the property that everything was catered for.
